Aimed at those who have the role of fire marshal and will be responsible for undertaking the safe evacuation of individuals within the workplace environment.

Course Aims and Objectives:

To enable candidates to carry out their duties as a fire marshal effectively.

Course Content:

Define fire and common causes of fire
Outline the role of the fire marshal
State the evacuation and re-entry procedures
Describe methods for dealing with special situations
Demonstrate the selection and use of fire extinguisher

Joining Instructions

Please arrive for 09:00am for 09:15 start.

The course comprises of a theory exam and practical exam so it is recommended that you wear suitable clothing as fire extinguisher training will form part of the course.

We no longer provide food but there is a Tesco Express located 5 minutes from the centre.
