First Aid at Work Requalification

This is the refresher course for the FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work. This is the qualification that should be held by First Aiders in the workplace. The refresher course can be taken any time up to 1 month after the expiry of the delegate's previous certificate

Description

Who is the course for?
Anyone who has previously held the First Aid at Work qualification, and wishes to renew the qualification. The course must be completed no more than 28 days after expiry of the delegate's previous certificate.
 
Course content includes:
  • Principles of First Aid
  • The role of the First Aider
  • Actions in an emergency
  • Breathing & circulation
  • Airway obstruction
  • Resuscitation
  • Treatment of bleeding
  • Dressings & bandages
  • Treatment of shock
  • Defibrillation techniques

Completion of the course:

Delegates will take a written test and complete a practical assessment. Successful delegates will receive the FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work certificate.
