Description
New Roads & Street Works (NRSWA) training is in line with The New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, which places a duty on any person or organisation undertaking work involving the installation, renewal, maintenance or inspection of underground apparatus in any street or road to ensure that work is under the control of competent persons.
Our internal, fully qualified and occupationally competent assessors work to the HAUC Specifications.
Pre requisites
There are no awarding body pre course requirements however it is strongly recommended that a individual has 18months – 2 year’s experience prior to enrolling for this course.
Joining Instructions
VALID PHOTO ID MUST BE SHOWN (driving license, passport or provisional only)
PPE REQUIRED -
SLG, Full Course, LA: General PPE is required for the practical assessments which will take place outside whilst on your course. Therefore, please ensure you have your Hi Vis Jacket, Gloves, B-Rated Goggles, Ear Defenders, FFP3 Face Mask, Hard Hat and Work Boots at the ready for practical assessments. These may be left in your vehicles until required.
Re-assessment - classroom based only, no PPE required.
Casual wear to be worn in the classroom but no boots please.
Lunch is not provided. However, refreshments are available on arrival and during breaks.
